40th Anniversary Celebrations |
|
Howick High School celebrates its 40th anniversary this year;
the 18th and 19th May 2007 has been highlighted as the weekend
of celebration!
An enactment of the original ‘Crocodile Walk’ will take place on
the morning of Friday 18th May, followed by an Assembly to mark this prestigious
event. Invited guests will be invited to tea in the DMC while the school
body congregates on the rugby field for a 40th photograph followed by the cutting
(and eating) of a huge 40-th birthday cake.
Other exciting events are planned;
keep clicking onto this site for regular updates.
On that Friday evening
the Past Pupils will meet for an informal social. An evening of orchestral
music is also on offer at the school hall for those who are interested. On
Saturday a smorgasbord of sport will be on offer and the weekend ends on a lively
note with a formal dinner and dance in the hall.
Tickets will soon be on
sale for both the orchestral evening as well as the dinner/dance.
These
are limited so watch the press, click onto this site and listen to East Coast
Radio for more information!
